At the request of our customers, Techway has designed and produced a wireless, portable access system card reader that is self contained, including a rechargeable power supply, wireless communications to a simple base unit, and connectivity to a Honeywell PW5000/PW6000 access control system. Both the DR series legacy card reader and HID card readers are available on this unit, making it versatile by way of compatability with HID and Honeywell Quadrakeys.

Now that need has been filled for a portable card reader for mustering applications, handheld gate readers brought to the vehicle, and readers for special access needs such as the handicapped at busy entrances. Contact us for more information and pricing.
